The following sentences are common rules.
But some server has special rules, you must obey  that then.

Contents:
•Don't act that someone fells unpleasant in chat and so on. Such act is called "Arashi" in Japanese net term.

•Don't attack GND objects.
But if the server is For fight, You can attack enemy's AAA, SAM and Ships.

•Don't attack under a Take off, Land and Parking aircrafts.

•Don't attack that there is no intention to fight.

•Don't use Flaps, Landing Gear, Trim and AAM at close range in dogfight because of inequity.

•You should usually choose IFF1 , but choose the other IFF if you fight.

•I recommend that to avoid fight near the airport, non-combat player etc. 
Because your weapons hit them, I may be that they think "Here, Arashi comes!" .
In short that causes trouble.

[How to call and response to check fight or non-fight intention]
...You wanna fight, do that.
•Use chat
•Use Fire warning shots

...You don't want to fight, do that to fighter.
•Use chat
•Use Flare a serious of three times in flying

Basically you can't fight.
You confirmed signal definitely then you can fight.

Finally open server is used by a lot of people, so you remember that "I must obey rules". Then everyone can play pleasantly.

Now, we will say some common rules.

Do not:
•Attacking ground objects, in taking off or landing planes, and in parking one.
•Saying uncomfortable things.
•Getting involved non fighters.

If you want to dogfight:
•You must confirm decision of opposed person(s).
•Do not use flaps, landing gear and trim in fighting.
•You mustn't fire missiles in case of passing each other.

Of course, rules are based on each servers. Please check them.
